Tottenham fans will not be at all happy with how last night went. The performance from the Lilywhites was absolutely dire, and whilst Jose Mourinho can be blamed for the way he set the team up, there were certainly some bright sparks from some performers.
One of those who impressed plenty of Tottenham fans was the young Gedson Fernandes. The Portuguese midfield man was making just his second start as a Spurs player, and the fans enjoyed watching on as the 21-year-old impressed down the right flank for the club.
Should Gedson be starting for us?
Yes
No
The Portuguese midfielder did have his work cut out, though, as he had to both get forward and help on the front foot as well as cover for Serge Aurier, who was defending uncharacteristically narrow as the Lilywhites struggled to cope with RB Leipzig’s pressing game and overloads in wide areas.

Gedson is too good to be played out of position imo

The Lilywhites clearly enjoyed Gedson’s performance and will be keen to see more of the same from the youngster in the coming months of the season.
