Hair-Raising Barcelona Celebration For One Spurs Man

|

Spirits in the dressing room were always going to be high after Tottenham Hotspur secured progression through to the next stage of the 2018/19 Champions League campaign with a good point against Barcelona at the Nou Camp on Tuesday evening.

Having trailed in the game to the hosts’ early effort, Harry Kane set Lucas Moura up for the leveller five minutes from time and as we matched Inter Milan’s result against PSV Eindhoven, through we go.

It was a good night for Spurs fans all around as we could’ve taken victory but it seems two players may have been having a friendly bet on another game – River Plate and Boca Juniors – and it was time to pay up.

I’m not sure that’s how you’re supposed to celebrate a victory, but it’s certainly on the novel side of life. Seems they enjoyed it anyway and I guess that’s all that counts really.
