Following heavy speculation over the weekend that Tottenham Hotspur Academy graduate Luke Amos would be making a loan switch out to Queens Park Rangers, that deal was confirmed on Monday.
The 22-year-old has long been highly rated at Spurs and it appeared that having impressed manager Mauricio Pochettino during the 2018/19 pre-season campaign he would be last season’s promotion up through the levels. Pochettino gave him his Premier League bow on August 11 in the clash against Newcastle United at St James’ Park and although it was a cameo, plenty thought further game time was only a matter of time.
The lad picked up an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury in September though and it basically brought his campaign to a close, so getting him out on loan now for some proper football in the Championship should be a good way for him to make up for some lost time.
Taking to social media yesterday to react to the news, plenty of fans felt it was a sensible move and expected him to do well at Loftus Road.
Good luck Luke. Smash it.

Good move for the lad.
Getting a few games under his belt with the Super Hoops didn't do Kyle Walker any harm. #COYS #QPR pic.twitter.com/jxfusUdEUH— My Football Facts (@myfootballfacts) July 1, 2019
