‘Good prospect’, ‘Google’: Lots of Tottenham fans had mixed views on player that has ‘Levy wrote all over it’

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for Copenhagen’s Robert Skov this summer and fans appear to have had a mixed reaction to the news on Twitter.

According to Spanish media outlet El Desmarque, Spurs and Wolverhampton Wanderers are thought to be interested in the Danish winger – as are Celta de Vigo (hence the report being picked up in Spain).

The 23-year-old has been competing for Denmark in the Under-21 European Championships and has a rather solid three outings for his country – he has netted once and has shown he is not scared of having an attempt at goal as he averages 4.3 shots per game (WhoScored).

Skov certainly made a name for himself in his native country though with his performances as he proved to be an incredibly lethal threat in front of the opposition goalkeeper, despite playing on the right wing.

The Copenhagen winger managed to net an incredible 32 goals and provide his team-mates with ten assists in his 48 appearances across all competitions last season (Transfermarkt).

However, it would seem not everyone at Tottenham is convinced by the rumoured Mauricio Pochettino target this summer as there appear to be a number of mixed reactions to the alleged interest in him.

Some of the supporters admitted that they didn’t actually know who he was and had ‘Daniel Levy wrote all over it’ whilst it would be safe to say other fans were more encouraging about the rumours stating that he was a ‘good prospect’.

Here are just some of their reactions…
