Tottenham’s recent good form continued this weekend as they beat Bournemouth 3-2 at home despite a scare from Harry Wilson’s two late goals.
The win was Jose Mourinho’s third in a row since taking over two weeks ago and it was the first time this season that Spurs have won back to back league games.
Key to the victory was in form Dele Alli, who has been in exceptional form since Mourinho became manager and put in another man of the match performance this weekend.
Alli scored two goals against Bournemouth and has now scored three goals in three matches.
His first goal came after 21 minutes as Son Heung-Min’s touch played in Alli who tapped past Aaron Ramsdale. The attacking midfielder then doubled his tally just after the break as Alli flicked the ball over Ramsdale.
Gets me a bit emotional seeing dele back to his best, really happy for him since his injury set backs to see him confident and bossing games again

Certain fans have pointed to the impact of Mourinho on Alli since taking over, claiming that the Portuguese manager has been key in turning around Alli’s form recently.

Fans are delighted to see their playmaker back to his best and if Mourinho is to complete Spurs’ turn around after their poor start, keeping Alli’s confidence up and getting the best out of him could help the side to climb into the top four over Christmas.
