With the end of the Premier League season fast approaching, Spurs still find themselves without a permanent manager.
The likes of Scott Parker, Graham Potter and Brendan Rodgers have all been linked with the current vacant role, which is temporarily filled by 29-year-old Ryan Mason, who has thus far won two out of his four matches in charge.

Belgium manager Roberto Martinez is also a candidate, and former Spurs right-back Alan Hutton has given his nod of approval for Daniel Levy to hand the managerial reigns to the Spaniard.
“I think he [Martinez] fits the bill,” said Hutton, speaking to Football Insider. “It’s exciting. It all comes down to the style of football that he plays.
“He wants to play the way Tottenham want to play. They want to play exciting football, attacking football and he fits that bill.”
Martinez, who formerly managed Swansea, Wigan and then Everton, will be managing the Belgian national team this summer in the European Championships, which could create an issue if he was to be offered the Spurs job as he wouldn’t have the full summer to properly prepare and plan ahead for next season.
And I'd still prefer him to Roberto Martinez.

“I think the only problem, and I know these top managers will evaluate the squad and stuff, but he’s going to be with Belgium at the Euros until late on in the competition, probably,” continued Hutton.
“I can see Belgium doing well this year. For him to go far in that and then obviously come into the job in the summer, it’s very late. It’s a difficult one.
“I know he will be evaluating the squad and what he wants but there’ll be a quick turnaround.
“He’ll have to put his ideas and implement what he wants to do moving forward very, very quickly. It’s whether they can take on board what he wants really quickly before the season starts.”

There is no debate as to whether or not Martinez would bring free-flowing attacking football back to Spurs, which us supporters are craving for, but after his recent failure in the Premier League with Everton, the question is will he be able to bounce back and be the man to bring trophies to the club?
