Speculation linking Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino with a January transfer window move for West Ham United’s Declan Rice isn’t exactly new.
It got a fresh airing at the weekend once again as the Daily Mail again referenced the rumours as they gave a round up on Saturday.
It’s a single line link and Chelsea are namechecked for good measure as well but with the 19-year-old still yet to agree a new contract at the club and seemingly having his heart set on a departure when his existing deal expires at the end of the season, January rumours will abound.
From our point of view, he’s not a bad target and each time this speculation recirculates it feels like more and more fans come on board with what the youngster could bring to us.
Very good player. Versatile and comfortable in CM. But would WH sell to us ? Highly unlikely.

Would be a great signing. Lad will excel with some real players

Pretty versatile kid but I’d guess playing 6 would be best position. Possesses a good first touch, seems pretty calm in possession and has a bit of size to him as well. Decent distribution as well.

Forget his background…the boy can play…serious potential….and well worth a punt

Kid looks very good whenever I’ve seen him. Would be surprised if we’d be able to pull it off

At this stage, it could just be typical press reports on the rumour mill being rehashed, but given some of the transfer links we’ve seen since the August window slammed shut this one in terms of price expectation is far more likely than others, I would think.
Depends if Poch does have any interest though.
