Fernando Llorente has pleased a lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans after he scored a goal in Napoli’s 2-0 win over Liverpool in the Champions League group stages.
The 34-year-old was brought on as a substitute by Carlo Ancelotti and provided his team’s killer second goal – as he pounced on a mistake from Virgil Van Dijk to roll the ball past Adrian.
Napoli had taken the lead through a controversial Dries Mertens penalty and set the stage for Llorente to gain some form of personal revenge for Liverpool’s Champions League final win over Tottenham.
The former Swansea man had said in his press conference before the game that he wanted some revenge.
So, this goal and the win has probably provided him with what he was looking for.
These Spurs fans are buzzing for Llorente.
