With Tottenham Hotspur announcing the capture of Leeds United’s young winger Jack Clarke earlier this week, the 18-year-old has been very much identified as one for the future given we have instantly loaned him back to the Elland Road outfit for the coming 2019/20 campaign.
With Clarke extremely highly rated but lacking significant game time when it comes to starting appearances in the senior game, the loan back makes perfect sense to get him more experience and get his numbers up and we already know with the respect between manager Mauricio Pochettino and Marcelo Bielsa, it’s not difficult to assume that a few conversations have taken place between the two when it comes to his development next year.
With many fans not truly knowing what the expect from him though, it seems some are more than ready to trust Poch’s judgement yet again, but also let history be a guide to how well he could do for us in the future given our previous dealings with the club.
Welcome @JackClarke09 mate it’s a well trodden path from LS1 down to N17 you follow in the footsteps of @SpursOfficial legends such as Danny Rose, Paul Robinson, @AaronLennon12 and Robbie Keane.

Hope he is as good as our last 4 signings from Leeds… Robinson, Rose, Keane, Lennon…

Big welcome to Jack Clarke. Wish he had been kept at the club for a season to let him bed in. Even for pre-season or the tour.
