Five Spurs Players In England Squad

Further proof that Spurs have been re-vitalised and are on the up is the fact five of our squad have been named in the England squad for the ‘friendly’ against Argentina on Saturday.

The players are Paul Robinson who appears to have cemented his place – quite rightly – as England’s No1 and Ledley King, Jermaine Jenas and Jermain Defoe and Michael Carrick.

The U21’s are also represented with Michael Dawson, Tom Huddlestone and Aaron Lennon all named in the squad for the European Championship play-off against France. The first leg being at White Hart Lane on Friday November 11th. Kick-off 7.30pm.
