Ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s trip to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal on Sunday, the club confirmed the first ‘fan familiarisation’ event at the new White Hart Lane.
The will hold a ticket ballot for season-ticket holders and 6000 lucky winners will get full access to the new single-tier south stand and take in the rebuild in a way that the photos we’ve seen probably don’t do it justice.
We are delighted to be able to give 6,000 fans the chance to visit and explore the South Stand and podium areas at #SpursNewStadium during a specially-arranged familiarisation event on Sun Dec 16 (11am – 3pm).

The 6000 fans will be split into two groups of 3000 to attend at different times of the day and help test the ground’s ticketing systems but they will be required to a £1 for the privilege and after all the delays and issues so far I imagine that won’t go down well with many.
The date has been given as Sunday, December 16 so the one thing to be taken from it is we are edging nearer now finally after all these months to actually being back in our new home properly and waving Wembley Stadium goodbye.
We do still await a final date though for our first game.
