There was a special moment at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday before Spurs went on to secure a 3-2 win over Bournemouth.
Young ball boy, Callum Hynes, was the hero as Spurs came back to beat Olympiakos 4-2 on Tuesday in the Champions League. Spurs scored after Hynes quickly threw the ball to Serge Aurier who took a quick throw to Lucas Moura who set up Harry Kane for Spurs’ equaliser.
The ball boy was rewarded for his quick thinking on Saturday as he got to dine with the first-team squad before their match against Bournemouth.
Kane introduced Hynes to the players and they congratulated the 15-year old for his quick reactions and Spurs fans have been full of praise for the youngster.
What a top lad he seems 💙
Very bright and has lovely manners – a real credit to himself and his family.

He’s one of our oooo-www-nnn.

What an incredibly articulate, polite lad – his folks should be proud. Hope this inspires him to achieve whatever he wants to in life

Don’t know how excited he must have been, but I was beaming just watching him.

Certain fans were keen to praise Jose Mourinho for creating a positive environment around the club by inviting Hynes to meet the squad.
Feel good factor, nice touch from José making a positive environment. Good to see everyone smiling again.

I think they are somehow trying to make it symbolic, like, if you are a ball boy doing things like that, you’d be rewarded. It motivates others.
Probably Mourinho’s team came up with the idea coz it was his first champions league game here, and the ball boy made him win
