We saw a lot of good things at the weekend from the boys and Dele Alli’s return to form was certainly one of those.

He`s been an excellent player for us since he joined, we all know that, but because of that he is more than likely going to attract more than the usual amount of stick when he has an off patch.

Certainly, he`s not had his best season on an individual note this year and people have duly torn into him but he`s stuck at it and the weekend proved that he`s still more than capable of getting important goals for us even if he is not in top form. What`s nice to see, too, is that he is well aware of the importance of his team-mates around him – despite the accusations in the press about his behaviour – and his and Danny Rose’s words about Son have certainly got a response from our fans.

Let`s take a look at what has been said.

Some though, just wanted to know if Alli was injured or not.

  • Play Dele up front with Son and Lamela off him in our now traditional style of play. Lamela’s more match fit and sharp than Moura but Moura will get his chance eventually. Then it’s pretty standard with Eriksen, Dembele and Dier.

  • Great Tweets I must say… very interesting… So, Is Dele injured? I say, Is Dele not injured? Discuss…

  • Son doesn’t need anyone to ‘big him up’ …. he’s doing it himself with his performances.

  • And the answer to how he can avoid two years National Service seems pretty obvious …. send Llorente instead!

  • Without Kane, it’s unthinkable to not have both Dele and Son in the side. Dele is the false number 9 and our setup is geared around Son scoring. Any opposition team worth their salts will nullify us with only one of them playing even if Eriksen is orchestrating play. Doesn’t matter what the line-up says, Son and Dele know instinctively how to interchange and cover Kane’s position.

  • Geof, wonderful suggestion about sending Llorente to Korea, even if it’s to the north of the DMZ. I suspect that Kane’s injury will do naught to increase Llorente’s time on the pitch in England.

  • Geof, he is delivering himself his right I do think it is the Harry Kane effect given him that extra boost and it?s great for all as he is just the player I seen years ago in Germany class act ( Harry Kane one team coys )
