Ledley King has said he should score more following his header in the 1-1 draw with Arsenal. He also very modestly said he did the easy part by heading the ball on the 17th minute following a perfect free kick from Michael Carrick

He told the official site: ‘It was a great feeling and I should score more goals. It was a good ball from Michael and I didn’t really have to do too much – just get my head up there and meet it.’

It also shows how far the Spurs squad have come that they are disappointed to have not got all three points against the Gooners.

‘Being 1-0 up at home against a team like Arsenal we are disappointed to concede. We felt we could have killed the game off in the first half and that makes it more disappointing.’

He also feels the team is growing in confidence and more importantly learning from their mistakes:

‘I think we have made some progress from last season and learned from mistakes. We’ve got a young squad that is growing together and maturing, but we have still got some way to go. We are definitely improving though.’
