After Tottenham’s tepid 0-0 draw away to Bournemouth, plenty of Spurs fans have flocked to social media in order to lambaste midfielder Erik Lamela following his display as Jose Mourinho’s side take a stumble in our quest to qualify for Europe next season.
Despite seemingly getting back to winning ways during our 1-0 victory over Everton earlier this week, this result could put a dent in our Champions League and Europa League hopes – with Spurs now 10 points behind fourth-placed Leicester City and nine points adrift of Man United in fifth.

Failing to find a way through the Bournemouth back line, Tottenham had a penalty appeal controversially ruled out through VAR while Lamela glanced a header wide – missing our only real chances of the 90 as we failed to register a single shot on target all game.
Spurs were also fortunate at times to get away with a draw, as Callum Wilson’s late strike was ruled out, but these Lilywhites have blasted Lamela in particular for his display – especially considering he lost well over half of his ground duels as per SofaScore.
