Reports in France have linked us with Lyon’s Tanguy Ndombele in recent days, and now Sky Sports have also confirmed that we are interested in the 21-year-old.
The midfielder had a good season in Ligue One last campaign, and many are tipping him for bigger and better things.
Fans on Twitter have shared their thoughts about our reported interest in the player:

Verdict:
I haven’t seen the player in action so I don’t really have any strong feelings about whether he’d be a good fit for us. It seems that he is just one of the midfielders that we are considering as a replacement for Mousa Dembele if Sky Sports are to be believed.
Other options are said to include Watford’s Abdoulaye Doucoure and Lille’s Yves Bissouma. The three players have similar profiles: good ball carriers who can chip in with assists and a goal or two. Whoever is chosen, they will have massive shoes to fill if our n0.19 does head for the exit door.
