Yup, you can tell the October international break is in full flow as the ridiculous transfer story speculation has returned and this time Tottenham Hotspur are being linked with a move for Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey.
It writes itself and it comes from Teamtalk originally, so I doubt anyone will take it sensibly but I did notice it was gaining a fair bit of traction on the interweb, so only fair to rubbish it.
As you’d fully expect there’s not even specific justification for the claim that we are the latest club to be linked with a ‘free transfer’ for the 27-year-old Welshman and I’m assuming that’s because the writer couldn’t find a source as they came up with it in the staff canteen.
They state it as fact, link other clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea and AC Milan and they’re off but the main problem with this type of invention is it leads people to claim revenge for Sol Campbell and other good headlines, and social media will always see pros and cons in such a suggestion given the type of player he is – and he would be a good addition if you ignored the baggage.
Ramsey has potential, Poch could make him into a player

In what world??? He wants out because they're not giving him close to Ozil salary which is 350k.
Now imagine levy giving him 200k a week and he's refusing to give Toby anything near that 200k figure.— ENIC Out (@edy_shadows7) October 9, 2018
Are the medical team underworked?

Got to be honest I would take him! His wages though and fact he hates spurs, won’t happen

Bit like us not giving Toby what he wants but paying Sissoko stupid money instead!

It won't happen , tbh he wouldn't get in our starting 11 when all fit.

And when you have the above, these days you, unfortunately, have another story that some will take as gospel because it’s in print.
