Debutants As Spurs Take A Stroll Through White Hart Lane – Match Stats

Tottenham Hotspur went into Thursday night’s Europa League clash with Ludogorets looking to build on the impressive victory over Manchester City in our last game and despite a number of expected first team changes we looked to do just that as Alves Morais gave us a quick advantage 16 minutes in.

Given our bright start, it was a lead we certainly deserved as 30 minutes in they had only had five touches in our half, and not one of them was a shot towards goal.

After a perceived wobbly spell under Jose Mourinho, Dele Alli made his mark in minute 34 as he set up Morais for his brace. It felt won already really, and the only question was how many goals would we add to our tally.

2-0 at the break – would Ludogorets have a shot in the second half?

No.

It was another good start from us and Harry Winks scored an absolute belter with just over 25 minutes remaining, and Lucas Moura added a fourth with 17 left on the clock – and they still hadn’t had a shot.

With the game completely over, it was good to see Mourinho bring on so many of the young lads for debuts.
