Tottenham have set their sights on goalkeeper Dean Henderson in recent days, report Football.London, and that has sparked a discussion over whether he’d be a good addition.
The 23-year-old has spent the last two years on loan at Sheffield United from Manchester United, and he hasn’t put a foot wrong with his impressive form that even led to talk about him playing for England at the Euros.
Henderson has kept 10 clean sheets in 27 league games for the Blades this term, conceding just 22 goals. By contrast, Hugo Lloris has just two clean sheets in the Premier League, and appears to be a player on the decline.
Signing a young player who is already capable of improving upon our current options would, therefore, be a great step to take, and one that could help Jose Mourinho massively.
Many of our fans are excited that the club has set its sights on bringing in the Man United man, though the fact they will probably wish to keep him makes some think that it is a deal that is unlikely to happen.
I would love him at spurs but I can’t see United letting him go, he’s clearly their future #1
