Midfield terrier Edgar Davids has once again called for improvement from his fellow Tottenham team mates to keep the Champions League dream alive.
Last week Davids called for higher concentration levels to cease late goals being conceded which have dented Spurs` European challenge.
The former Juventus and Barcelona midfielder is lamenting the fact that we have only gathered two points from our last two games.
‘Once again we have missed a chance to move away from Arsenal, who are fifth’ said Davids. He continued, ‘ We are lucky the Gunners aren`t playing well recently, will we ever learn that`s not the way to perform if we want to hold on to our Champions League dream?’
Like other European footballers Davids is not shy in expressing his feelings to the media in such a fashion,something football supporters are not too used to much here in England.
Would Davids have been better advised to keep his opinions inside the four walls of the White Hart Lane dressing room?
