Tottenham appear to have to reignited their interest in Willian and could make a summer move for the Brazilian, report TEAMtalk.
Jose Mourinho is a big fan of the £25m-rated player having signed him for Chelsea and monitored him while at Manchester United, and he could be a cheaper alternative to others we have been linked with.
That is because his contract is up in the summer, and therefore it would be a simple matter of agreeing his wages, with a three-year contract Willian’s aim.
Do you think Spurs should sign Willian?
Yes
No
The fact he is now 31 could be a concern in regard to that contract length, and with Arsenal and Bayern Munich also believed to be interested that gives him greater bargaining power.
However, he has already admitted that he wishes to remain in England and that means we could battle it out with our fierce rivals for his signature, and perhaps that is where the sway of Mourinho will come into play.
Despite our manager’s belief in the player’s ability, many of our fans oppose the move, though the response to the transfer link is rather varied.

Typical levy. Take him when he is past his best. Should have offered more to get him the first time instead we just paid for his medical.

Good signing on a free – he’ll need to still do a lot to win me over though

Will be an unpopular opinion but id rather have him as a backup than Lamela simply because Willian isnt made of glass and injured all the time. Plus we could sell Lamela and add an extra 20 mil to our budget
