Tricky one this, just thought we all know the problems with dembele had. No doubt he has some talent, if he got his act together and knuckled down. Could he be worth a place on the bench etc. If conte could see a change in his attitude might be worth a shot

Surely you mean N’Dombele as Dembele left us about 4 years citing fitness and injury issues (I think)
But if that is the case N’Dombele on his day is, a talented unplayable footballer.
Unfortunately, it only seems to come in flashes of skill when he feels like it, there is then a lot of falling over and appeals to the ref for fouls, then the boiler bursts at the 60/70 min mark.
Truely wish it were different as the guy is undoubtly skillful, but has an attitude aptitude and application, issue which is clearly apparent.
I thought it was to do with London, but it seems he is really no better back in France.
1 run and 2 step overs ain’t enough for me chum.

  • Hot Tottingham says:

Conte and Paratici didn’t waste any time in getting Ndombele away from the club.

I think there was good reason why. Surely we can all see why.

He needs to go and warm another club’s bench. He is an expensive luxury that we can I’ll afford to keep.

  • Hot Tottingham says:

    Ill afford!

  • wentworth says:

Lets hope we start to make key signings soon. Some clubs have already started.
Levy is well known for procrastinating and waiting for the last day to pick up unwanted bargains.
Also no point in hanging on to the benchwarmers and failures. Be ruthless even if it means a loss.
    Early bird catches the worm?
We are in the Champions League after all.

  • 123spurs says:

Agree WW just look how important a good bench is now days. Hopefully the days like winks coming on are long gone. As we need squad players pushing the 1st 11.

  • block 108 spurs says:

Ndombele sold be sold, bad attitude and lazy makes dele seem like a workhorse !. he just wants the wages spurs pay… Levy should be getting rid asap. I have been patient and hoped he will get himself turned around but not after I was at WHL the cup game v morcombe he was arrogant and disrespectful….. That’s my views anyway

  • 123spurs says:

Perisic would be a great signing if levy can pull it off. We need winners, we need players who actually won something can the benefit the team. The time is now.

  • PompeyYid says:

Forster, Perisic, Spence, signed or getting ready to, now there seems that Spurs have agreed personal terms with Bastoni’s agent, and a good offer has gone in for him.

There is also strong talk that Eriksen is on his way!

A big number of Free Transfer’s are being looked at, thus more dosh for a significant signing.

Now we wait! and also see who else is in the pipeline. COYS

  • wentworth says:

Let’s hope so Pompey. N’Dombele, Lo Celso (28 million) and Gil on their way out.
Things are looking bright. The colour is lilywhite.

  • Allan says:

    Perisic
What a player and for only his wage to pay . A no brainer .
Levy must be having sleepless nights with the speed transfers are being talked about so early even before the TW window opens !! Levy won’t be able to play his silly late transfer games if we can get all transfer activity done by July if not sooner .
I have watched the Croatian on U Tube and his crossing is superb and general all round play ex cellent . Sess could learn a lot from him .
Bastoni if we could get him brilliant .
Not sure about why we keep changing the no 2 goalies .

  • block 108 spurs says:

Usually when clubs sign players out of contract there is a players signing on fee, agent fee and players wages / contract clauses. So if perisc arrives at spurs we have a good player who has a lot of experience and quality, even his age 30’s he’s still going strongly.

Also i noticed modric played for real madrid in CL Final at age 35? he is amazing ..

  • PompeyYid says:

Now it seems we offered the asking price for Bastoni, but oops the price has gone up 20 Euros, how unusual.

Also verbals say we are in for a 19 year old GK, Josh Keeley, under 19 ROI international, from St Patrick Athletics, medical this week.

Perisic is in London, medical today apparently.

    Futher rumours…
    Traore ugly head risen again
    Allan Saint-Maximin from the Geordies
    Benfica’s Darwin Nunez(striker)
    McGinn of AV
    Bissouma of Brighton
    Finally Neves of Wolves.

There are probably many more lol!

Torres interested in MU, non CL, yet refused us when we were non CL, now we are, gotta be about dosh lol!

The ITK is really working hard lol! COYS

  • PompeyYid says:

Sorry price gone up 20m Euros, lol!

  • Geofspurs says:

Danny …. Any chance of a new thread devoted to ‘The Silly Season’ (TW)? That should keep the site buzzing until the next season starts.

  • Allan says:

    Hi guys
Is Danny still writing the threads ?
Wsan’t the site recruiting for a new poster ?

    • Danny Winter says:

Hey folks, yes still around – just taken a small break.

Will get Geof’s request for a silly season thread up and running – probably tomorrow now if things go to plan.

  • jod says:

BelgianSpur – Would you like to break that £50m down, player by player ? Because to me it sounds like more “lets pretend we’ve got lors and lots of money”.

  • PompeyYid says:

Perisic signing confirmed, now for others. COYS.

  • 123spurs says:

Just as I suggested, get in there

  • PompeyYid says:

Another whisper is that Bastoni has agreed to join us, it appears he is visiting the Lodge on Friday, real relevant news will be next week. COYS
