City Humbled As Jose Gets It Spot On – Spurs Top The Table – Match Stats

|

After more international boredom, Tottenham Hotspur fans had the joy of welcoming struggling Manchester City to White Hart Lane for today’s Premier League clash.

It was always going to be a tough match, but Son Heung-Min had a bright start and set us on our way five minutes into the game as he helped Tanguy Ndombele to an assist as he opened the scoring.

Despite dominating possession and having 22 attempts on goal (only five on target), Pep Guardiola’s side were wasteful and given our effort, discipline and determination, they just couldn’t find a way through and midway through the second half, Harry Kane combined with Giovani Lo Celso to make it 2-0 and that was how the game finished.

With other sides still to play on this weekends round of football, Spurs occupy top spot for tonight at least and that’ll be a major boost for everyone at the club.

Can we build on this now and Dare to Dream even at this early stage of the season?
