Tottenham reserve player, Charlie Daniels has joined Leyton Orient on a permanent deal the club have revealed.

22 year old Daniels, who could play either at left back or left midfield, spent all of last season on loan at Brisbane Road, but although Martin Ling wanted the player on a permanent deal, Spurs were looking for to high a fee for the player, which Orient were unable or unwilling to match.

After spending a successful month at Gillingham this season, Charlie chose to return to Spurs in a final attempt to break into the first team picture at White Hart Lane. However despite scoring three goals in four reserve games, he never got the chance to step up and with his contract due to expire at the end of the season, he has been released on a free to join Orient on an 18 months deal.

With Daniels and Andy Barcham leaving the club in the last seven days, we only have Leigh Mills remaining at the club from our title winning 2005/06 reserve championship squad and he is currently on loan to league two side Brentford and struggling to make an impact at league level.
