I have to confess that I can`t quite understand this, but?

Its been confirmed that only a few days after Cameron Carter-Vickers was recalled from, his season long loan with promotion chasing Sheffield United and people asked what, why and perhaps where next, its now been confirmed that he is to join mid table Ipswich Town for the remainder of the season. Maybe a strange decision, but I am open to your clever suggestions to its logic.

There is of course the theory that he may embrace different ideas in a new environment and as a former centre back himself, Mick McCarthy may well impart his own wisdom on a young player. Perhaps Sheffield looked at a more permanent solution or greater experience in there chase for a lay off spot. otherwise I am slightly confused.

As previously stated, I believe that playing regular football is key for CCV and any developing player. will for example he play in a different formation, hence giving him week in week out experience of a different tactical requirement? its suggested that Ipswich are selling the experienced Tommy Smith, which may open the door to give Cameron regular football, but we will see…

  • It as been said that shf Utd choose for his return to spurs as they now have cover. So maybe that is y change of club with no real benefit other than game time. Coys (one team Harry Kane )

  • As I understand it Sheffield are looking to sign defenders while Ipswich are losing one. It would seem to come down to the club thinking the player will get more games at Ipswich than Sheffield.

  • I don?t understand why one would want to understand. We are not part of the decision making process and to me, it matters not why MP/DL would change a loan players team. I am sure they is a valid reason and the fact that I am not privy to it, means nothing to me. Of course that?s just me! LOL!

  • All you can hope for these players is that they get time on the pitch whilst on loan. Even if they don’t make it for Spurs, that maximises their sell on value. Not sure what will happen with CCV but he still only 20 and has time to make it.
