Spurs Word On The Tweet

‘Can have Eriksen instead’ ‘£500m to Mr Levy’ – These Tottenham fans made their feelings clear regarding transfer rumour

Tottenham Hotspur favourite Son Heung-min has become a potential transfer target for Real Madrid, according to a report by CalcioNapoli24.

The Italian media publication has made the claim that because of the interest in our South Korean superstar, we are now interested in acquiring PSV Eindhoven’s Hirving Lozano instead this summer – a player we mentioned in a previous article as someone we feel could benefit us in the future.

However, we would not be willing to give up Son in order for that to happen – never in a million years!

The 26-year-old was outstanding for us last season and was arguably our best player as he went on to score 20 goals and register 10 assists in his 48 appearances across all competitions. He is surely a player we will not want to leave anytime soon!

And, it is hardly a surprise to see that we are not the only ones who would be keen to issue a good old-fashioned ‘hands-off’ warning to the Spanish side, especially considering they have already turned the head of Christian Eriksen (Ekstra Bladet).

Many of the Tottenham faithful took to Twitter after learning the news to share their reactions to the speculation, with plenty of them thinking it was nothing more than that whilst others were quick to tell Real Madrid to not even bother going there.

One fan even stated they could have Eriksen instead of Son if they really wanted one of our players this summer. Here are some of their reactions…
