After Julio Baptista ended Tottenham`s cup run at the semi-final stage, boss Martin Jol now has more Brazilian`s to contend with, this time in the UEFA cup.
Spurs next opponents in the tournament are Portuguese side Braga. The Brazilian influence includes Diego and Ze Carlos, who scored against Parma to knock out the Italian side, and tinker man Claudio Claudio Ranieri to reach the last 16.
‘I went to see them personally last week and they use a lot of players in order to rest people for forthcoming big games,’ said Jol.
‘Overall we have got a very good impression of them and if you let them express themselves on the ball they are very strong with their Brazilian influence.
