Responding to footage of Heung-Min Son and Hugo Lloris getting into a skirmish at half time during our tepid 1-0 win over Everton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, some Lilywhites have flocked to social media with their opinions over the scuffle – with one supporter claiming Son has been ‘awful since the restart‘ while others brand it ‘pathetic’.
The duo, seen clashing before the half-time team talk on camera heading back into the tunnel, made all the headlines despite our victory over the Toffees in north London.
Since the incident, manager Jose Mourinho has been quick to down play the potential negative effect this could have on our dressing room as well as what lead to the confrontation.
An own goal from Michael Keane, deflecting in Giovani Lo Celso’s effort, has managed to keep Spurs’ hopes of European qualification alive – but that isn’t exactly what is on the minds of these fans.

Not great captaincy – save it for the dressing room whatever it was

If it belongs to the dressing room then maybe he (Lloris) should have adressed Son – in the dressing room…

That moment was embarrassing and sums us up as a club at the moment, I take the point that it’s right to demand something of players, but that was over the top from lloris, especially in view of the cameras

Hugo’s Captain about time he showed it. Sonny’s been awful since the restart, never mind today. Too many drifting. That’s what we want innit?
