23 year old striker Lee Barnard will remain in the squad as Mido struggles with illness.
The striker who has had various loan spells with Exeter, Stevenage, Leyton Orient and Northampton picking up 1 goal scored in this weeks reserves team defeat to Aston Villa.
Chris Hughton told the official site: ‘He’s done a fair bit of training and scored a very good goal for the reserves at Villa.’
‘I’ve no doubts had he been fit for longer periods this season that he would have figured in more squads.
‘He’s had a good period in the reserves and he’s certainly earned the right to be involved in the first team squad. I’m pleased he’s got that chance now.’
Other team news and Ledley King will make his Premiership come back against Wigan tomorrow.
Paul Stalteri is a doubt while Lee Young-Pyo, Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Tom Huddlestone and Anthony Gardner are all out.
