A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans were delighted when the club finally broke it’s seemingly self-imposed transfer ban last week and we announced the first of many new additions this summer in the shape of Notts County starlet Kion Etete.
Spurs Complete First Summer Signing & It’s One For The Future – “Real Talent”
Whilst our failure to sign anyone since Lucas Moura back in January 2018 certainly isn’t as black and white as many attempt to make out when criticising the club – the likes of Frenkie de Jong are on record saying we were interested after all – everyone hopes for a good summer now.
17-year-old Etete might not be the ‘big name’ people want, but the lad has been signed for the future and with plenty of fans already welcoming him with kind words, there were even kinder words to follow when a short video clip appeared on social media, as is fairness, few know what to actually expect from him, other than he clearly impressed our coaching staff whilst on trial.
Looks a natural talent based on those two goals, should be very interesting to see how he develops from here on out.
