Back To The Bread & Butter For Spurs – Match Thread

|

Fresh from Tuesday evening delight against Barcelona in the Champions League as we secured our progression through to the last 16, Tottenham Hotspur now head into the Premier League clash against Burnley at Wembley Stadium.

With a couple of changes in midweek once again as manager Mauricio Pochettino dealt with our current injury situation, we can expect some more slight rotation, but with seven listed injuries so far, we may get lucky and welcome one or two back, but it will again largely be the same sort of matchday squad.

In some ways it doesn’t actually matter, whatever injuries have hit Poch’s side so far this year, we are dealing well enough with the players who we’ve lost and the only aim this weekend will be to rack up another win and not only keep ourselves ahead of Chelsea and Arsenal, but preferably close that gap on Manchester City and Liverpool.

Burnley are tough but they have been struggling this year, so whether we see another youngster or two, well, it’s over to Poch to answer that question.
