A lot of Tottenham fans have been making the most of the international break this week by tuning in to some of the games on offer to them without having to worry about the stress of the Lilywhites ruining their weekend, and plenty of these games feature a few Spurs players.

Earlier in the day on Thursday, Heung-Min Son starred as South Korea hit Sri Lanka for eight before Ben Davies helped Wales to a 1-1 draw in Slovakia. However, a game that a lot of Lilywhites apparently tuned in for was the 9-0 thrashing of San Marino inflicted by Belgium.
One of the goalscorers on the night was Toby Alderweireld. The defender got himself onto the score sheet and was congratulated by the official Tottenham Twitter account, and even if the goal has since been changed to an own goal, plenty of Tottenham fans have been asking the same questions, which you can all read below:

Funny how they’re all playing so well for their countries. Fancy bringing some of that form back to Spurs?

POCH really gotta do something about his coaching cause we saw a good play from Juan Foyth, Goal from Sonny and now from Alderweireld. It’s clear the team is okay but the problem is from POCH

Why is everyone one excelling on international break but not at spurs

Amazing the difference when these players out of contract pull on their country’s shirt. The desire suddenly returns.

The Lilywhites are all a bit perplexed and frustrated as to why they can’t seem to get the same level of performance from a lot of their players at club level considering how well they’re seemingly faring for their countries.
