Almost Forgotten Spurs Man Breaks His Silence – Well Sort Of

|

Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen has finally broken his silence on social media following manager Mauricio Pochettino’s effective final nail in his coffin when it comes to his future at the club.

The 24-year-old Dutchman hasn’t played a single game for us this season and that’s not a surprise as he was omitted from our 25 man Premier League squad and our Champions League squad. He only made one solitary appearance for us in the season of 2017/18 (August v Chelsea) before being shipped out on loan to Turkish side Fenerbahce.

With many believing that he would be moved on this summer, at a loss following his reported £17million arrival, despite plenty of speculation linking him with former loan club Fenerbahce as well as others, it seems a foot injury from memory scuppered any deals as he’s not expected to return to action until at least January.

Whatever the reason behind the Instagram post, he certainly seems happier and the implication is a telephone call is behind his joy – I’ll guess we’ll have to wait for confirmation for what it actually means.

It certainly set tongues wagging though!
