Spurs – and I know I really shouldn’t say this without touching wood – look to have no new injury worries as Martin Jol prepares for the weekends game v Arsenal.

Jol also says that Noe Pamarot and Wayne Routledge are are close to being fit for first team selection.
Defender Pamarot, who has been absent long term due to a knee injury he picked up v Blues last April, played in a practice match v Ipswich and came through without any negative reaction. Pamarot is still being linked to Southampton, who tried to sign him last January. They want the former Nice player on loan with a view to a permanent move.

Routledge will soon be able to remove his protective boot and return to light training and Anthony Gardner is said to he 50% through his recuperation from the thigh injury he picked up in September v Villa.

Meanwhile Edgar Davids misses the local derby game due to suspension after picking up his 5th yellow card of the season in the match against Man Utd.
