According to a report from Football Insider, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has allegedly informed manager Jose Mourinho that he will have to sell senior stars in order to fund a desired summer overhaul – prompting many supporters to react on Twitter.
The club recently acquired a £175 million loan through the Bank of England to offset losses brought about by the recent pandemic, leaving potential transfer business up in the air as Levy plans to save costs.
Now, as per Football Insider, our chairman has informed Mourinho that in order to tackle the summer market, we must offload surplus to requirement first team stars.
The focus will apparently be on loan deals, free agents and any potential bargain deals following our manager’s alleged desire to re-shape the squad ahead of his first full season in charge.

This is probably true but if we sign T.Silva and Cavani would that be such a bad window? Exp CB who is a winner and a world class CF for a few seasons, two positions we badly need reinforcing…at least until we pay off that shiny new stadium, frustrating but that’s Tottenham!

Absolutely ridiculous, the deadwood players to be sold have low sale value, we’ll get mugged signing any decent players and free transfers are just as expensive. The squad is going to get very thin and aged.
