The Irish international replaced Dele Alli in the 85th minute against Burnley to make his Premier League debut for the north London side in a season that has seen Parrott represent Ireland at senior level as well as make his professional debut for Spurs in the League Cup earlier in the year.

The teenage attacker has been highly rated at Tottenham for some time, and supporters on social media were delighted to see the striker make his Premier League debut for the club, and so was Jose Mourinho apparently as the Portuguese manager handed the Irish youngster the match ball after the full-time whistle.

Parrott could be in contention to start against Bayern Munich this week when Spurs make the trip to Bavaria for their final Champions League group stage game.
