A Break From The Norm – The EFL Cup, A London Derby & A Chance For A Semi – Match Thread

|

Last week was a good week in the life of Tottenham Hotspur fans and this midweek, we will be looking for better as we go into the EFL Cup quarter-final clash with local London rivals Arsenal.

We head to the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday evening for a 7.45pm kickoff and Arsenal fans will be in for a treat as they’ll get to see a Champions League side in action, which I’m sure they’ll be very excited about.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino will have to deal with our now usual level of injuries, so as ever, we can expect changes but one or two faces should be back in contention following last weekend’s victory over Burnley and there’s more than just rivalry at stake in this one.

Our only defeat in December came at their hands in our last visit to their stadium so Spurs should be out for revenge in this one.

A similar effort to recent Barcelona clash would see us take that revenge as well.
