With the ongoing and endless rumour mill saga that centres around Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen and his potential future at the club, it seems some fans are now panicking that Chairman Daniel Levy is pricing the 27-year-old Danish international star out of a move.
Another Day Another Eriksen Claim – It’s Time For A U-Turn Apparently
The claims so far this summer have been as wide and as varied (contradictory) as they could possibly be but the only thing we sort of know for sure is that Eriksen is open to the potential of a new challenge, and that no bids have yet been firmly received.
With claims that we are holding out for £130million being repeated this weekend and the ultimate ‘limbo’ state that has apparently left Eriksen in, it seems fans are that bored of the saga now they just want it over and if £70million would do that, they don’t Levy’s hardball negotiating to get in the way.
I view it differently, nobody truly knows what Levy wants to deal at and until a bid comes in he has no reason to define that. As ever, he’ll do what he feels is best for Spurs and only hindsight will ever show if he was right or wrong.
If he had 2+ years left on contract £130+. But he can leave for nothing next year. Levy get £70+ and everyone will be happy.

Happy for him to stay, as long as he signs new deal. Can’t have him leaving on a free next year!!

Now you're being silly…. 65M would represent excellent value for someone with a good goal & assist return. You're talking about players going for 50M with hardly any experience. Eriksen has bundles & is proven. 70-80M would be a good price.

I think he'd jump at the opportunity to prove himself as a rotational player at RM, but it just doesn't seem like RM really wants him.

Then we lose him for free next summer. It's a lose/lose situation

He isn’t worth anywhere near 130 million
