6 Shots, 1 Key Pass But Only 51 Touches – Spurs MotM Couldn’t Have Gone To A Nicer Bloke

|

It was a better Wednesday evening for Tottenham Hotspur fans as manager Mauricio Pochettino saw his side take another step towards qualifying from the Group Stages of the Champions League with another, relatively comfortable, victory over Red Star Belgrade.

Travelling, having secured a 5-0 victory in the home leg, efforts from Giovani Lo Celso, a Son Heung-Min brace and a late Christian Eriksen goal gave us the 4-0 victory, and many feel there were small improvements on display but we’re still not at our best, so nobody will be getting too carried away.

Statistics website Whoscored did have some good player ratings after that one though, and Sonny put a bad weekend behind him with a score of 8.90.

Completing the top five on the day were Lo Celso (8.63), Tanguy Ndombele (8.29), Danny Rose (7.86) and Davinson Sanchez (7.62).

Goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga, Harry Kane, Juan Foyth, Eriksen, Moussa Sissoko, Dele Alli and Eric Dier also scored seven plus for their efforts on the day.
