It was a better Wednesday evening for Tottenham Hotspur fans as manager Mauricio Pochettino saw his side take another step towards qualifying from the Group Stages of the Champions League with another, relatively comfortable, victory over Red Star Belgrade.
Travelling, having secured a 5-0 victory in the home leg, efforts from Giovani Lo Celso, a Son Heung-Min brace and a late Christian Eriksen goal gave us the 4-0 victory, and many feel there were small improvements on display but we’re still not at our best, so nobody will be getting too carried away.
