£35m Rated Serie A Playmaker Plays Down Talk Of Potential Tottenham Switch

|

AC Milan playmaker Suso has said he is keen to remain at the San Siro beyond the end of the season.

The Spaniard is rumoured to be a possible summer transfer target for the club, as well as Liverpool, but speaking to Tuttosport (translation by TeamTalk), he said:

“I have always said that I am very well here, that I found myself very well and that there is nothing that can make me think I have to leave.”

“The team and if the company wants to grow with me, I will be happy because now Milan is my home.”

The attacking midfielder reportedly has a €40million (£35m) release clause, which is said to be attracting the attention of a number of top European sides.

He has been in good form for the Rossoneri this campaign, having scored eight goals and provided 14 assists in 48 matches. Whether he would be a transfer priority for Mauricio Pochetino, it does seem unlikely.

With the likes of Dele, Erik Lamela and Christian Eriksen all being able to play similar roles to the Spanish international, it’s hard to see where he would fit into the starting line up.

The 24-year-old has played in the Premier League before, having come through Liverpool’s academy before being sold in 2015.
