Saturday’s early Premier League kick off saw Tottenham Hotspur take on London rivals West Ham United, but following the events of last week one of the biggest talking points was going to be new manager Jose Mourinho’s first time in the dugout.
There were a number of positives to come from the clash, three goals scored, some better individual performances and we did, of course, take all three points, but there’s clearly still work to be done given the two goals conceded and they could’ve had three themselves, had it not been for VAR.
Statistics website Whoscored had us on top in the game, despite their late fight back and ever reliable Son Heung-Min took their star man award for Man of the Match with a rating of 8.54 after his goal and assist.
Completing the top five on the day were Serge Aurier (8.23), Harry Kane (7.94), Dele Alli (7.55) and Lucas Moura (7.47). Eric Dier also received a plus seven scoreline.
