25 y/o Spurs Man Wished Well As Mystery Issue Sees Him Sidelined Again

|

On Saturday afternoon Tottenham Hotspur released a short statement informing fans that versatile England man Eric Dier had now undergone an unanticipated medical procedure.

The 25-year-old only managed to make 19 Premier League appearances for manager Mauricio Pochettino in the campaign of 2018/19 as he found himself significantly sidelined with three separate injuries that took him out of first team contention for a good chunk of time.

With four games missed in October and November having picked up a thigh muscle strain, were then following by his unexpected bout of appendicitis and requiring an appendectomy which left him out for another month. As the season drew to a close, he was hit with a hip injury.

It wasn’t the best of campaigns for him and everyone was hoping he’d get a clear run of things, but as per the statement from the Official Site, he is now out of our trip to Singapore and Shanghai.

The statement doesn’t confirm what the issue was, it simply explains that he’d undergone the medical procedure to ‘correct an issue’ that was detected during the medical assessments on the first day back in pre-season training.
