£200,000 p/w – Report Claims Spurs Have Countered PSG’s Move For Top Summer Target

|

With long standing speculation linking Tottenham Hotspur with a move for Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele so far this summer, it’s been regularly reported that talks and negotiations are ongoing between both clubs as we look to strike a deal.

There’s some distance apparently between the two sides’ valuation of the highly rated 22-year-old but in all the to’ing and fro’ing it’s believed it’s only a matter of time before an agreement is found.

“For The Moment” – Rival Chairman Comments On Spurs Transfer Target & Some Fans Will Get Excited

On Friday the Express reported that French side Paris Saint-Germain had now made their move and submitted a formal offer for the player, so naturally on Saturday there were claims that we had reacted to their move and submitted a firm £55million bid of our own to keep ourselves as the potential frontrunners to his signature.

Whilst the claim leans heavily on an unnamed source, it does attempt to back itself up with some firm claims.

£55million plus addons for his signature and a package worth £200,000 a week to the player, based both on his signing on fee and what they state to be ‘achievable bonuses’.

I guess by close of play today we’ll have more claims that contradict this suggestion.
