Tottenham have agreed a £20 million fee for Valencia striker David Villa according to reports.
The Spanish side have already revealed that they are ready to cash in on the striker who has impressed during the European Championships and while the Telegraph believe Villa has been a target for Juande Ramos since he came to White Hart Lane, I can’t help but think that this rumour has only pushed forward due to his impressive scoring form alongside Torres for Spain.
Villa himself would not speculate on the rumours linking him with a number of clubs around Europe saying: ‘My focus is on this tournament and making sure Spain do well. This is not a time to be thinking about my personal future.’
