2 Shots, 87 Touches & Maybe A Slightly Surprising Spurs MotM After Brighton Battle

|

With recent Manchester City battles behind us, Tuesday evening saw Tottenham Hotspur back on home soil as we welcomed Brighton and Hove Albion to White Hart Lane for our latest Premier League clash.

With the battle for the top four hotting up, results went more our way over the weekend despite our defeat but everyone knew Brighton would be fighting for their lives and this one likely wouldn’t be pretty.

A late goal from Christian Eriksen gave us a deserved win though and all three points on the night but statistics website Whoscored had an interesting Man of the Match in some ways.

Danny Rose took their star man award with a score of 7.86 for his efforts on the day, and he was followed by Toby Alderweireld (7.73), Eriksen (7.63), Kieran Trippier (7.39) and Jan Vertonghen (7.37).

Victor Wanyama, Dele Alli and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris also received seven plus scores for their efforts on the night.
