1 Shot, 5 Key Passes But Only 25 Touches – Spurs Might Have A New Star As He Takes MotM

|

Thursday evening’s Group J Europa League clash with LASK looked like it could be a banana skin for Tottenham Hotspur (in light of the West Ham capitulation), but following goals from Lucas Moura, Son Heung-Min and a credited own goal – we ran out as comfortable 3-0 victors at White Hart Lane.

It was a good and solid performance from everyone really as we picked up all three points and returned to winning ways, but in few can doubt that summer signing Carlos Vinicius (Alves Morais) stole the show in what was his full debut for Spurs.

The former Benfica attacker helped himself to two assists in his 86 minutes on the pitch and those who doubted the 25-year-old Brazilian, would’ve been nicely won round.

Statistics website Whoscored were certainly won over as they gave him their star man award and a player rating of 8.07.
